There are 7 personality gifts listed in Romans 12. Each one of us has a dominant gift that motivates us. But just as unique as our finger print, our gift is seasoned with the flavor of our parents, life circumstances and many other factors. Your unique personality is a gift to those around you.
But why do they do that? Or why can’t I be like me? Sometimes changing the question brings a better answer. Why did God design them like that, for what purpose? That is a whole new perspective. By shifting the focus on purpose, you can get in agreement with their design instead of trying to change them.
